The J L Edwards Memorial Trust was set up in honour of the late Jack Edwards, who died in 1968.  Mr Edwards was Headmaster of Much Wenlock County Secondary School for fifteen years and became a much loved and respected member of the local community. So much so, it was decided to dedicate his name to funding student projects which promoted courtesy, enterprise and endeavour (you may have heard those 3 little words somewhere before?).

Each year the JL Edwards Memorial Trust invites applications from students at William Brookes and chooses the ten most appropriate projects to award money to.
