The Much Wenlock Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Neighbourhood Plan was formally ‘made’ in July 2014 and sets out the community’s aspirations for their town and parish. It is a statutory document, which is used to guide and shape development and help determine planning applications. The final version of the Plan can be found here:

One of the key proposals set out in the Neighbourhood Plan is the ambition to provide more affordable housing for local people and that we would do this by working with registered social housing providers. A Project Board was established to deliver affordable homes at Callaughton Ash comprising representatives of the Shropshire Housing Group/Marches CLT Services Community Led Housing, the Town Council, Shropshire Council and community representatives.
