It is with deep sadness that the Members and staff of Much Wenlock Town Council learnt of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen was a hugely respected monarch, who devoted her life to the service of the nation and its people. The Council extends its heartfelt condolences to members of the Royal Family.
A Book of Condolence will be located in Holy Trinity Church, Much Wenlock.
The Proclamation in Much Wenlock of the new King will be made by the Mayor on Sunday, 11thSeptember at 4.00pm in The Square.
