Over the Christmas and New Year period some local bus services will be operating on a revised timetable.
Customers are advised to check with their operator to confirm arrangements before travelling.
Shrewsbury Park & Ride
- Saturday 23 December – will operate as advertised.
- Sunday 24 December to Tuesday 26 December – service closed.
- Wednesday 27 and Saturday 30 December – will operate a Saturday timetable. This means the first bus will leave each park and ride site at 8am, with the last bus returning to its respective site at 6.30pm.
- Sunday 3 December and Monday 1 January – service closed.
Normal service will resume from Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Connect On-Demand – Shropshire Council’s new flexible bus service
- Saturday 23 December – will operate as normal, 7.30am to 6.30pm.
- Sunday 24 December and Tuesday 26 December – service closed.
- Wednesday 27 to Saturday 30 December – will operate between 8am and 6pm.
- Sunday 31 December and Monday 1 January – service closed.
Normal service will resume from Tuesday 2 January 2024.
We advise customers wishing to use the Connect On-Demand service between Christmas and New Year to book in advance.
The Customer Booking Line (0345 678 9013) will be open from Wednesday 27 December to Friday 29 December, 10am to 2pm.

The above services 722 and 701 will operate as normal over the festive period, except:
- Sunday 24 December to Tuesday 26 December – service closed
