Project – Ironbridge Regeneration 11kV Project – 2023
NGED & Doocey Group would like to make you aware of major construction works to be undertaken in your area in the coming weeks.
Doocey group will be working on behalf National Grid Electricity Distribution, (the electricity network operator for the Midlands, Southwest, and Wales), undertaking a major distribution infrastructure project, which will be serving Ironbridge, Telford and the wider Shropshire areas. These works are being completed to secure a reliable electricity supply for NGED’s existing customers and is not linked to the Powerstation development.
We are due to start this phase of works in your area on 30/10/2023 and the works will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.
The work will involve the excavation of a trench to install ducts, through which new cables will then be installed. At certain places larger excavations will be required to joint and test these cables.
